Jeweler Thomas Heyerdahl got the idea when he discovered the bunch of similar white sneakers in his hall when his kids had their friends over for å party. How could they even recognize their own pair? What if I could design a cool jewellery product to let them customize their favorite sneakers and make their own style, was his thoughts.  

The concept is a continuation of previous projects performed in collaboration with various companies such as Apple, Nokia, and Audi. High quality materials in unique combination with well-known brands are the hallmark of unique Heyerdahl concepts. 

TAGS by Heyerdahl is produced in yellow or white 18 ct. gold encrusted with 90 diamonds, or in Sterling silver encrusted with 90 cubic zirconia stones. The gold with diamonds version is made in numbered limited editions. The silver edition is available in many different versions, with surfaces either 18 ct. gold or platinum plated. The silver edition comes in a multitude of coloured cubic zirconia stones. We are also introducing a rainbow edition with 5 different coloured stones to support Pride and the optimism our times are calling for. 

TAGS by Heyerdahl will be launched in 11 different variations in December 2020. Further variations will be introduced in the spring of 2021. 

The product is targeting sneaker lovers who want their sneakers to be unique by adding their own style. TAGS by Heyerdahl are designed as a unisex product. They can be used as pairs (one on each shoe) or with several TAGS on each shoe by using “straight bar lacing”. 

TAGS by Heyerdahl is distributed and sold in cooperation with STRESS Oslo. Stress is considered Norway’s premier sneaker shop, known for their wide variety of unique sneaker models. TAGS by Heyerdahl are only found in Heyerdahl and Stress stores in Oslo and in their respective online stores. TAGS by Heyerdahl are sold in pairs (two TAGS) and presented in a specially made gift box.
